2009-05-12_1236School of Rock 2008 teacher participants will be mentored and taught by scientists who are actively engaged in IODP research and by IODP education and technical staff, who will provide guidance and content related to hands-on laboratory activities. The educators will conduct a series of research activities and experiments similar to those that take place during and after scientific ocean drilling expeditions carried out by IODP. This year’s theme is “Using Ocean Cores to Explore Past Climate Change.”
