School of Rock (SOR) is the adventure of a lifetime. Educators learn about scientific ocean drilling alongside scientists and technicians who have sailed aboard the JOIDES Resolution.

The School of Rock is a program developed by Deep Earth Academy, the educational program of the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program. Educators from across the United States find out what it’s like to engage in scientific ocean drilling research.
