The 2010 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Oceans and Human Health (OHH)

The Conference will feature a wide range of topics, including pharmaceuticals derived from marine organisms, seafood safety, recreational water quality monitoring, harmful algal blooms, practical applications of genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics to risk management, and issues related to climate change.
The exciting lineup of invited speakers (see below) reflect the multidisciplinary facets of OHH, including epidemiology, molecular biology, risk modeling and prediction, pharmacology, and environmental toxicology.
When: June 13-18th, 2010
Where: the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
Applications for this meeting must be submitted by May 23, 2010. Please apply early, as some meetings become oversubscribed (full) before this deadline. If the meeting is oversubscribed, it will be stated here. Applications will still be accepted for oversubscribed meetings. However, they will only be considered by the Conference Chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.
