Colin is the Office Manager for CORE and a Research Associate for the CORE Research Department programs. Originally, Colin started with CORE as a Research Assistant working with the National Oceanographic Partnership Program and the U.S. National Committee of the Census of Marine Life. After two years in the research department, he added office managerial duties to his workload to learn more about the daily business and financial operations of the organization and has since become the Office Manager. He oversees CORE’s IT functions, supply ordering and cheerfully listens to and deals with any complaint about malfunctioning office equipment.

Colin came to CORE in 2004 from Ocean Alliance in Boston, Massachusetts where he served as Voyage Coordinator for the Voyage of the Odyssey. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, specializing in Public Relations, in 2001 from Boston University. Originally from Vermont, he enjoys playing soccer, piano, cooking and works part-time as a manager of City Sports, Inc. when he is not working at CORE.
