Arctic Technology Conference
[ February 7, 2011 to February 9, 2011. ] The Arctic is one of the few places on the globe which still holds enormous new petroleum reserve potential. A recently completed USGS survey estimated that 20% of the world’s remaining reserves were trapped beneath the Arctic Circle.
2010 Ridge 2000 Community Meeting
[ October 29, 2010 to October 31, 2010. ] The 2010 Ridge 2000 Community Meeting aims to capitalize on multi-disciplinary experiments and observations of the NSF Ridge 2000 Program at its Integrated Study Sites, Time Critical Studies sites, and elsewhere- by promoting in-depth discussions, data sharing, and the preparation of data integration and synthesis manuscripts.
NSF Cascadia Initiative Workshop

AGU Chapman Conference on Detachments in Oceanic Lithosphere: Deformation, Magmatism, Fluid Flow, and Ecosystems

The MoHole: A Crustal Journey and Mantle Quest
