Eddie Cohen
Eddie Cohen teaches 8th Grade Earth Science at Quibbletown Middle School in Piscataway, NJ where he was recently awarded Teacher of the Year honors. He is an Ed.D. graduate student in Rutgers University Graduate School of
Education. Eddie is interested in researching different components of education especially around environmental issues. These include improving pedagogical content knowledge of pre-service and in-service teachers as well as infusing technology in education to increase authentic scientific inquiry. Both research topics contribute to a desire to increase student motivation and interest in science.
Eddie likes to travel in his free time. He has been to two different rainforests and is excited to explore more remote areas around the world. He also enjoys playing as well as coaching sports, enjoying outdoor events, and cultural experiences.
