Anthony arrived at JOI in May 2007. As Senior Systems Engineer, he is responsible for overseeing the development, organization, and implementation of integrated systems and processes across the Ocean Observatories Initiative network. Prior to joining JOI, he most recently served as Program Director, Technology Acquisition Management for the U.S. Postal Service, managing the largest technology acquisition program ever undertaken by the USPS in a single purchase, in excess of $1 billion. He spent 20 years with the USPS, including the last ten at national headquarters. Anthony is a patent holder and received numerous recognition awards during his tenure. He is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Anthony holds a masters degree in Engineering Management/Systems Engineering from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Youngstown State University.
