Q: What are your plans on the 4th of July at sea? July 4th?

A: For the 4th, I think that there is something planned. They may have some fireworks stowed for the occasion. I am sure that there will be a good dinner. The food out here has been great; they bake their own bead and cakes almost daily, and Sunday is always steak and seafood. We had a choice of t-bone or filet and shrimp last Sunday night. It is a good thing that there are exercise machines and weights tucked here and there; without workouts, it could be a problem!

Here are some pictures on the 4th.. (look on the expedition blog page for July 5)
