On this Expedition:
I am the computer technician. The computers work day and night, so I work all hours of the day and night. This includes everything from helping the science teams hook up to the ship network, to basic email training, server and router configuration, satellites support, videoconferences, the multi-beam system and everything else that uses a computer on the ship. I have sailed on other ships with Scripps and most of the time really enjoy the work at sea, and appreciate the science work that is done out here.
